Also Spirit 98.1 Geraldton may be picking up Simon Beaumonts program with John Laws retiring and unlikely to take the new 2UE program. He has some great guests in from time to time, and if you watch the live stream you just see how relaxed they all are - the studio door usually stays open all day too. That never happens during the week when there's lots of people and noise around, but they do that on the weekend. On another note, someone needs to fix the bodge job they have done with the news opener since the Fairfax name change. We currently get a Geof Parry style "882.... 6PR....
